Match Point 1st Ranking July

1. The tournament will begin sharp at the timing category-wise. All players must report on time.
Late arrivals will be considered a walkover.
• U/12, U/14, U/17 - 8:30AM
• Open - 9:30 AM
• Doubles - 11:00 AM

2. The tournament will be conducted in a League-cum-Knockout Format. Players will first compete in their respective groups (League Stage). Based on their performance, qualified players will advance to the Knockout Stage.
Qualification for the Knockout Stage:
- U-12 Category: Top 2 players from each group.
- U-14 Category: Top 4 players will qualify from the group.
- U-17 Category: League stage results will directly determine the final player rankings.
- Open Category: Top 3 players from each group.

3. Doubles Event: Doubles matches will be played directly on a Knockout basis as per the published fixture list.

4. Match Format:
U/12, U/14, and U/17: All League Stage matches will be played in a Best of 3 Games format.
Knockout Stage matches will be played in a Best of 5 Games format.
Open Singles and Open Doubles: All matches, including the league stage, will be played in a Best of 5 Games format.

5. A specific table will be allocated to each category. Players must play only at their designated table.

6. Only indoor non-marking shoes are allowed inside the playing area. Outside footwear must be removed before entering the court.

7. Players must be present near their designated table when their match is called. Failure to report within 5 minutes may result in a walkover.

8. Players are responsible for keeping track of match schedules and tournament announcements.

9. Last-minute changes, requests, or fixture adjustments will not be entertained.

10. Participants are expected to maintain discipline and show respect towards fellow players, officials, referees, and organizers.

11. In case of a tie in the league stage, qualification will be decided based on tournament rules and the organizer's decision.

12. The decision of the Organizer/Tournament Committee shall be final and binding on all participants.
